Lily- Bar Harbor, Maine Senior Portraits

After 3 years, I figured it’s time to start blogging again! They likely won’t be wordy, but I’m hoping to share a lot more sessions with you all and maybe a bit behind the scenes too.

It’s not everyday that you get the chance to photograph your daughter’s senior portraits. It may be often that I get her in front of a lens, but graduating high school is a right of passage and I wanted it to be what she’d dreamed her pictures would be. When you’re homeschooled, there are a lot of traditional thinks you trade for the freedom of school without walls but there are some that are too special to overlook. It seems like yesterday I was at the Gap in the mall picking out a dress to put her in for her pre-k photos. She was as good of a sport then as she is now, always willing to humor me when an idea or inspiration strikes.

We ventured to Cape Elizabeth, at Fort Williams park for Henry’s senior session a few weeks before. I did get a chance to snap a few for her, those are saved for another post. I can’t wait to blog those! When it was her turn, she opted for Sand Beach in Acadia National Park. She brought friends and we made a day of it! We also jaunted over to Thuya Garden in Northeast Harbor. The garden was in full bloom and full of color; It was lovely. Did you peep the hummingbird in the pics? The highlight of the evening was Rosalie’s pizza, a family favorite and a missed opportunity to grab some candids but oh well, it was good nonetheless!

If you are on the fence about booking your own senior portrait or family session, I do still have summer/ fall openings! Click on the “contact” tab above to reach out!
